start bid at $50.

HeXy SG

asking for $400..

HeXy SG

did u forget one zero? Mr. Green
sry for forgetting to put the asking price.

^tamago^ SG

i give u SITEX prices for 19" widescreen LCD's, which all come with DVI support. samsung even offers HDTV support already, the others i didn't check.

it's a price war as 19" and 22" WS become affordable that i dun really give much value to a second set unless it's from a reliable brand.

Chimei $339
Viewsonic $349
Samsung 940BW $359
LG 194WT $369
Dell $369

Dude, mine is a LCD TV, not monitor.. and somemore mine is 20" High Defination..
No doubt 19" monitors are cheap, but where can u find one TV with HDMI input for such price?

HeXy SG

300? Dream on.. not buying then nvm, talk so much cock

^tamago^ SG

go google for "Samsung 940BW" and see for urself.

i have put my price at $50. if u think u can trick me into buying akira at $300, no way. if this were in HWZ, we will scrutinise every offer.

put ur model down and i'll check with the stores wat is the RRP for ur TV.

^tamago^ SG

anyway if i won’t wan to consider ur TV i won’t do so much research and gather the prices out. i do need a TV but at ur price point i will give it a miss for sure when there are better offerings and especially now when monitors offer DVI and HDMI support.

HeXy SG

Well of course you should go to the shops and buy urself a brand new one instead of getting chopped by my ridiculous offer.

^tamago^ SG

yeah, still analysing if it's worth the money if i use it only for 3 months for the IPTV trial or see if ST will send me a TV too. thanks. Laughing

how to compare monitors to tv? Question

limzhihao89 SG

Wink tamago put his offer @ $50 because he is using it for his IPTV trial, which somewhat allows HDMI/S-video from the TV-box out to any monitors(need nt be a TV)

but TS selling a TV, and not a monitor...
TV is able to read signal from the video cable from ur TV port which a LCD u quoted like a Samsung 940BW cannot support...
TTs y a 19" like a Samsung monitor is priced at $359 iirc but a Samsung LCD TV at 24" is priced at $1499...

limzhihao89 SG

To TS:

A LCD TV at a reso of 640*480 may not be realistically considered as High-Definition =)

A HD-Ready TV has a reso of 1366*768 while a Full-HD TV has a reso of 1920*1080.

Ideally, a HD TV has to be at least 24" inch and above for ultimate viewing =)

limzhihao89 SG

again, $50 for a 20" LCD TV is an insult to both TS and Akira =)
even a cash converter would allow TS to fetch higher price =)

Somewhat, posting in HWZ/VR-Zone would yield TS better prices =)
